I do hope he starts with Hogan and Hourihane instead of Bacuna.

Evening Mail predicting:

Johnstone; Hutton, Chester, Terry, Taylor; Elmohamady, Whelan, Bacuna, Green; Lansbury; Agbonlahor

Hope it is wrong, would prefer to see Hogan starting, possibly alongside Gabby, and with Lansbury playing with Whelan. We should be playing two up front at home to Hull.
If Gabby plays ahead of Hogan, I reckon Hogan should consider giving up the game!

I think gabby will start after his performance last weekend

I was in the Hogan camp but he needsto show more outside the box. He scored a couple of great goals and looked very dangerous in Germany. But that was a shocking defence that was playing in the third tier of German football last season

I'm hoping to see the Elmo/Hogan relationship we saw in Germany grow. Gabby just doesn't have those natural instincts. I always thought Westwood was a roach in that he survived so many managerial changes like he'd survive a nuclear fall out. Gabby is in the same boat. No matter what, he'll survive.

Bacuna and Gabby. Cancel the promotion bus.

Those two should be fired into the sun.

If bruce starts with gabby above hogan (presuming he is fit) the striker he paid 12 million for then there really is no hope

It's just ridiculous, but then Bruce is the architect of anti football. Agbonlahor is rubbish and has been for years. Bacuna, too.

I feel for Hogan. He's much better than Agbonlahor, but sadly we can't choose the team that's put out.

Agbonlahor will probably score a hat trick now!

I doubt it but it makes me think back to the hat trick he scored against Man City. Literally the perfect hat trick.

A very safe move from Bruce if correct. 0-0 with this line up.
I hope not, mate. But I can see where you're coming from. Are you going today? Try to enjoy. Haha.
Yes I will be on my way shortly and it's monsoon outside as it's  been since about 11.00.

Oh dear. It's sickeningly humid here, though having just got back from Hanoi, it's at least cooler than there.
Fingers and toes crossed for Hogan and Hourihane.

Barring Benteke's debut against Swansea in 2012, that's the last home league game I watched live since moving abroad for good. Seems a lifetime ago now.

It's glorious sunshine in Barnt Green. On my way to VP for the first time this season. Thank heavens Gabby's starting.

I wish I never saw the sunshine... One for Russon, maybe?!
