Onomah is eligible for today, but I reckon Bruce will probably start him on the bench, but hopefully he does see some action.

Evening Mail predicting:

Johnstone; Hutton, Chester, Terry, Taylor; Elmohamady, Whelan, Bacuna, Green; Lansbury; Agbonlahor

Hope it is wrong, would prefer to see Hogan starting, possibly alongside Gabby, and with Lansbury playing with Whelan. We should be playing two up front at home to Hull.

Just got a feeling Onomah is going to score today. He has raw energy. My spurs mate has told me he is dynamic and always looking to make things happen ......

Being one of the favourites with high expectations I'll go for a classic, pie in the face Villa, 0-2 Hull.

Wouldn't be worried about the number of strikers if we were equipped to play higher up the pitch with runners from midfield. With Terry, however, I worry that this just isn't feasible. If we're going to have him in the side, then, we might as well play a proper counterattacking formation like 4-4-2.

I'm going for 3-0 to us. We certainly won't concede and we have more than a few lads that need to make a point today. Come on Villa!

Yeah pretty medicore line-up.  Feel like I'm stuck in a time warp everytime I see Hutton's name on the team sheet.  We should just go the whole hog and stick Richards in too, ha!

A very safe move from Bruce if correct. 0-0 with this line up.

I hope not, mate. But I can see where you're coming from. Are you going today? Try to enjoy. Haha.

The line up I expected to be honest.  Bench will be interesting - Steer, Bree, Samba, Amavi, Hourihane, Onomah, Hogan would be my guess.

If bruce starts with gabby above hogan (presuming he is fit) the striker he paid 12 million for then there really is no hope

Yes I will be on my way shortly and it's monsoon outside as it's  been since about 11.00.
