I wouldn't worry too much about as it looks like an exercise in optics. I mean, how in the name of all that's good and holy do you stop a man from answering his mobile? More football nonsense.

The FA really fancy themselves as the Thought Police.

He'll probably be on holiday for the next three weeks anyway.

Looking at what it's for,  fuck me we've every right to be paranoid.

Back to my bit last season that punishments for us are always disproportionate.

Agreed, this is ridiculous.

I will try to get more fromantic the man himself first but looks like one for the Trust to throw a tantrum about to me.

Always had you down as a New Fromantic.

He'll be less inclined to share his thoughts with us now, that could have kept us going during times when we're pissed off.  At least we still have Tone as a mouthpiece I guess.

Rumour has it the original tweet was a comment on a penalty we should have had v Brighton -with a dig at the ref.

" as it included a reference to disability." is the key passage I think

Wild stab in the dark but that would probably be questioning whether the referee had seen an optician recently.

I'd imagine so.

Speaking of visually impaired officials, is the linesman Bacuna viciously attacked out of his coma yet?

Fuck me, what have we done to upset the FA?  They like nothing more than chucking the bloody book at us.

Can there be another club that seems to uniquely get carpetted by the FA for stuff that goes on all the time elsewhere?  There must be a Nose working there in the background somewhere, it's the only logical explanation!

To be fair the only thing he can't do his noticeably be doing his job. Behind the scenes it'll be no different/ Remembering as well that this is still not next season or pre-season yet, so many players will be on their holidays. Couple of weeks off and then it'll be good to go (again). Hopefully that was taken into consideration when penalising him.

We must have a reputation with the FA for being a soft target. Do what makes us look PC where Villa are involved.  They never complain.
