It's what middle class Oldham fans call themselves.  Etymologically 'proper Latics'  bastardised with time and usage.


I've seen us play at Oldham a number of times. I don't remember my first impression being 'ooh, this is rather middle class'. Although to be fair they did have a carpet with no mud for a pitch.
