AshtonVilla is right though the 8 changes led to their goals does anyone seriously think Hutton and Richards will be our centre halves next season ?

Reckon Richards is playing (if you can even call it that) to get paid off.

Where to fcukin start with that.  I have no idea why we signed Hogan.  He may as well be in the stand getting paid for all the service we give him.

Are Hutton and Richards going to be the Centre Half pairing for next season - no so why fcukin put them there.

Richards in Shrewsbury let alone being given the captaincy is a complete piss take.

No discernible difference not one from last season.  He needs to go before the season starts.  Why wait for the inevitable end of September sacking.

We've fucked this up. No taxi till quater last three... might make the second half!
You shouldn't have spent so long on Pride Hill asking the locals whether they pronounce it 'Shrow' or 'Shrew'.😉

Lethargic, lack of urgency, mediocrity, you name it was all in evidence today. No spark at all. Where was Samba? One of the better performers in midweek, nowhere....

Having watched the three games so far only confirmed what I thought at the back-end of last season.
Hourihane was way way over-hyped, his free-kicks and corners are exact replica's of Westwoods and he seems to have lost any ability he may have had to actually pass a ball further than 5-yards, never mind forward.
Amavi is definitely not a leftback.
McCormack needs to lose two stone. Its obvious to see the football brain is there but, he's too slow in his reactions to take advantage of that brain.
Hogan makes some great runs but, unless someone other than Hutton, at least tries to feed him some decent balls, he will become discouraged pretty quickly.
Andre Green, Keinan Davis and Harry McKirdy look even more like great prospects.
Thor, (Bjarnason), looks like he could develop into a useful player.

Mr.Bruce needs to settle on a formation and play it pretty quickly.
4-4-2 isn't going to work with the players we've got in midfield.

Richards looks like one of those fans that's won a competition to play in a game for 10 minutes.
That's exactly what I was thinking before I read your post!

I am absolutely livid at the performance. Absolute shocking stuff.

To give wickets away so cheaply. Disgusting stuff.

Was there football today?

I won't get too downbeat as ir was only a friendly but even so, I would have expected to see us create a chance. I can't remember one chance that we had. The penalty was a poor decision and the only shot on target. Nothing from outfield. I thought Hogan actually moved well but the ball was never put in front of him. Hourihane picks it up deep and we have no movement from midfield or nous to get the ball to Hogan in the right areas. That was incredibly disappointing.

For a team that is desperate to hit the ground running, we look the same old plodding outfit we've done for so long now.

Bruce and calderwood have to solve a tactical puzzle this summer - how to make sure we have goal threat, are robust and can keep the ball

This is tough as none of the options seem to quite work on paper. And no signs we're solving it yet, it seems

I sent a text to jnr at full time telling him the final score and his response was;
....."we are shit"
Its hard to argue with that
