Blimey that's a right cock up.

"We released our squad numbers for the 2017/18 campaign this week but some supporters had already pre-ordered their tops with numbers from the last campaign.

Fans who purchased from store opening onwards have also been affected."

I have been in today and got mine swapped so no more crestfallen teenager. They weren't aware of this announcement and I had to do the cat from shrek thing.

I like it when people take responsibility for their mistakes and put them right.

This is a really good response (from the initial cock-up).

I drove to VP Monday and they had sold out of kids medium shirts and shorts. Went home and ordered on the evening. Arrived today and all good apart from the shorts are a little too big so I need to swap them for Youth Small size.

Will try at the weekend in the shop but looking on the website it appears only way is to post it back to them. Anyone else had anything online and swapped it instore? Can't see why it will be an issue but you never know with us.

Totally agree Drummond. They've admitted their mistake and agreed to fix it. Kudos to Villa for this announcement.

Glad they are not, looks cheap having lots of different sponsors on the shirt. Aren't Premier League allowing sleeve sponsors this season?
