Presumably whoever broadcasts the Championship in Canada has other sporting events on during the rest of the day, and wouldn't be keen to have their viewing audience diluted by people going off to watch matches online. They'll have paid for exclusivity, partly so noone else can show the games in Canada, partly so nobody can show it during their other broadcasts.

There must be a reason but I'll be buggered if I know what it is. Like I say, if Sky pay for a certain number games and then get to pick them why should they either care or get a say in what happens to the others?Because it impacts the value of the fixtures they do pay for.Isn't that obvious?

Without really wanting to drag this back off-topic. The Championship will have three times as many games on TV from 2019/20, rising from 112 this season to 324 matches.

Magenta is a royal mail stamp colour, not an Aston Villa colour.
