I checked my phone a few minutes after Gabby had come on.

I immediately logged into Skybet to cash out my 10 on 0-0 at 8/1, and with the intention of putting something on him to score.

Didn't have time.

Not moaning, though. Well worth it.

Fuck off Blues.

Paul Robinson will be a hero to them for 'hitting a Viler', just as Stephen Carr is in their hall of fame for his antics. They lost both games. That's their mentality summed up.

The goal on about 22 minutes.

That's absolutely hilarious. "Shit, shit!" And then the sight of Gabby celebrating his first goal in 14 months over the crook of a knuckledragger's head-cradling arm. Absolutely beautiful.

The sliding tackle by the steward on the pitch invader was brilliant but a definite red card.

Just look at the shit they spout.  We don't drink in town if they're there.  Dear me they are utterly clueless.

Two seasons running they have left Villa Park losing 1-0 and they claim after the match they actually won morally .Sad feckers.

Satisfied with the win, if not the performance.

We need to improve dramatically for next season.
A fit & motivated Gabby could be a real bonus.
Hogan cannot play as the lone striker.
We still have no pattern of play.

Robinson is a fucking thug.
Rent-a-mouth Harry is still a classless twat.
They are going down.

'666VAN' was drinking in town so we all knew to steer well clear. I stay well away when he's about. Mad bastard.

I wasn't able to go to the game today so I had a lovely day out instead. I checked the result on my phone, mid picnic, and nearly choked on a scotch egg. Old 'arry's brave rescue act scuppered by rarely-seen shisha pipe fatman? The writer of Line of Duty would find that far-fetched. I think it might be the funniest result in the history of football.

Also, your missus could have scored that chance your lot had in the first half....if you hadn't run her over.

Bitter saggy faced crook!

I'm crying with laughter at that. And also at the fact that we have fuck all to play for, can perform atrociously, and still comfortably beat them in their cup final. With a goal from a has been who hasn't scored since the end of the last ice age.

Job done. 8 wins in the last 11 derbies. The natural balance of Villa superiority continues. Don't care that we played shit, it's a derby and I will celebrate and enjoy the piss taking.

Next stop Blackburn and a dilema.

No dilemma- our players are tired after a mentally and physically  sapping season, we need to rest some of them in readiness for next season's promotion push 🤔

I think it could be argued that there is a distinct lack of gender and age equality in football at the moment and Villa should be seen to lead the way in righting this injustice by playing the girls under 11 side against Blackburn next week.

I refuse to celebrate.

I considered getting naked. But just gave up
However Nik you promise to have a tattoo requires delivery. I look forward to evidence of  "Gabriel Agbonlahor"

Haha. Definitely something to look into. Hope you enjoyed the victory mate!

It was a terrible game, that for me was drifting away to a late winner for them until Gabby came on.

I was done with him, but he did exactly what was required, bladdering the ball off their stricken fullback was a crude but massively effective mood changer.

It's nice to see us play the psychological card successfully, more so obviously because it's that lot and their new shitehawk of a manager.

Quite. Fair play to Bruce for playing the card so well and credit to Gabby because he completely changed the tone of the game, even before he scored.

Dreadful game as these fixtures often are, punctuated by two sides terrified of losing. Two real chances all game and we took ours; that's all that you need you to do.

Judging by Redknapp's classless post match comments - more about the opposition than his own side - he'll fit in well there.

Rush keeper next week.

This morning still got a stupid grin on my face and will last even longer than normal against these sad blue nose tossers, because of that classless, saggy faced, bulbous nose, brown paper bag, fackng cockney spiff, he should be doing time, instead god in his precious way of balancing things out gives him a prison team to manage.
Aston Villa Official Announcement:
Can the under 10's, 12' and 14's teams all be at Villa park for 13.00hrs on Friday 28th April for coach travel to Blackburn, we will pick the team when we get there.
