The goal on about 22 minutes.

That's absolutely hilarious. "Shit, shit!" And then the sight of Gabby celebrating his first goal in 14 months over the crook of a knuckledragger's head-cradling arm. Absolutely beautiful.

Apart from the three points and Flabby's annual goal, I think that the main thing to note is the absence of 'post-match thread' in the thread title. Quite disorienting.

I was literally overwhelmed by our fast flowing football capped off by a winning goal from our inspirational talisman the magnificent Gabriel Agbonlahor.

The result today is all important but fuck do we need to get better.  Well done for the win and clean sheet.

It sounded like we were pretty dire again, but for once I'm just delighted we managed to beat the sty-dwelling tossers. Here's to their misery plumbing new depths in L1 next season. UTV.

I didn't think you approved of the word 'thread' in thread titles?
I think it is superfluous but 'pre-match, match and post-match 'threads' are things up with which I will put. I sad it was disorienting because it is something you always see on here.

Has somebody sent out for a bulk order of 'Spud-U-Like'? I can't quite see the detail in the foreground.

Job done. 8 wins in the last 11 derbies. The natural balance of Villa superiority continues. Don't care that we played shit, it's a derby and I will celebrate and enjoy the piss taking.

Next stop Blackburn and a dilema.

Indeed. I appear to have become an American. I'll be getting pissed, going on dates and saying 'Can I get...?' soon.

I have just checked my Concise OED on my laptop: "disorient /dɪsˈɔːrɪɛnt/ verb another term for disorientate." So 'disorienting' is ok. So ner!

They may be shite at the moment but, they're our shite and they made sure we can still hold our heads up today and believe me I'm grateful that.  To me, I don't know about the rest of you but, that image shows me that it looks as though they actually care.

That Blose beanback footage is priceless, made even better with the Facebook emojis flying across the screen!
They don't even know how to react to the pitch-invaders.
