Thanks Scratch.  I was singing along but I did not know why I was.

Ha! I think I would have joined in with 'Non, Je ne regrette rien' if they'd played it today at full time.

On leaving we were mulling over what team we should play at Blackburn.  I think the first name on the team sheet should be Libor Kozak, the second should be Tommy Elphick, the third should be Mark Bunn, the fourth should be Micah Richards (at centre back), fifth Gary Gardner, sixth Gabby then perm any five from the rest of the squad excluding Johnny Kodjia.  Elphick captain of course.

The only way we're going to find out if any of our under elevens are going to be good enough to make the grade is if we play them, if you ask me.

Please indulge an old bloke.  What is the significance of the Oasis song?

I don't think there is one bar the fact that it was played after our first victory in ages.

Didn't it get played when we were relegated?
For me the meaning was: Dont look at what's gone on these last few years, forget the past. Look forward for there are better times ahead.

If they can let me know so I can get time off work, I'm available to start in the middle of the defence at Blackburn next week. We need to experiment, its nearly the end of the season and the result doesn't matter too much. I'm 60 next month.

Yes...Brentford like Fulham play football. That first half today was abysmal. Bruce grinds out results yet other teams are progressive and still competitive.

Having said that SHIT ON THE CITY

Again I thought our problem was wide midfield. Grealish and Adomah didn't offer much.

We need to get Lansbury on the ball more.

Taylor was decent, Hutton was really good.

A win, that'll do. Time for a drink.

I agree with your selection ALITA but I am stills seething that they gave some young whippersnapper a free ST and a standing ovation for following the club for a derisory 71 years.  I will show you a free ST candidate when I bring my brother who watched them play pre WW2.
