Redknapp's post match comments were uniformly graceless, arrogant and disrespectful. Even if he'd been managing a completely different club today I'd be wishing relegation on them after that.

I don't care how small time some might think I am, I celebrate mad when the goal went in and at the final whistle it's been a crap season and that game meant a lot to me and we won 😀

That's 10 league games unbeaten (W7 D3) against them which by my reckoning equals the longest league run for either side. Which was also us in the first 10 games we played each other, also W7 D3. Their longest is 6 league games 1933-35, W2 D4.

This post was brought to by the letter S. For statto and/or sad bastard.

I think they had 6 games when they first got promoted to the Premier League too.

As much as I am delighted for us to win that photo pretty much sums up how far we have fallen in the last few years.

I am embarrassed by it.  It is the kind of thing they would do and we would quite rightly slaughter them for being so small time.

U wot m8?

It's brilliant. A united team enjoying what they're doing. I hope they enjoy it and do their utmost to replicate it next season.

Agree, Ads, I think it's great.
It shows that they know what it means to the fans.
Next season there won't be loads coming in, so we'll have a settled team.

We are really shit.

I can't believe I uttered the words "Gabby changed the game", but he did.

We are really shit.

I've blanked that spell from my memory! But in the interest of fairness i'll edit my post, 2002-2005 6 games for them W4 D2.

Imagine a group of players celebrating beating the local rivals. What bastards.

'Arry, your keeper did have a touch of the ball when he had to pick it up out the back of the net when we scored.

Also, your missus could have scored that chance your lot had in the first half....if you hadn't run her over.

If you need any help with equations of what you need to stay up, ask your dog!

Bitter saggy faced crook!

Arsenal always get slaughtered for that type of social media post.

I'd have preferred just to have left things at the final whistle. It was a terrible game after all.

Another dreadful performance by Villa but have come to expect it under Bruce .Today all that matters is the result to be fair but we have to be better next season if we want to be promoted .Well done Gabby,i am no lover of him but he changed the game and deserves some credit

Nice touch by Redknapp waving a wad of cash at the fans behind the dugout. I doubt they were real or declared to hmrc.

Favourite chants today - "Face like a ballbag, you've got a face like a ballbag" and "Gary Gardner, your brother's a twat"
