What is says is that we are on our second rebuild of the season playing against a team almost assured of automatic promotion. I am not expecting us to get tonked but they are clear obvious favourites.

Watching game in pub. Bound to be more noses in there than villa fans as well. Reckon we might draw but probably lose as Bruce looking broken in interview and saying it isn't about performance....hardly a braveheart rally the troops cry so reckon ultra defensive set up that is frightening. On the face of it this should be a procession for the home side but the one thing you can guarantee with Villa is that whenever you think you've got them sussed and a result is inevitable something extraordinary happens.

Reasons for optimism no science, no surprise team selection or killer formation it's just that I'm going. I haven't seen us lose up there and I haven't seen us lose a league game this season. For the 2000 of us going, stiff upper lip, smile shake hands with the enemy (most of them are decent football folk like ourselves) and sing the roof off the place.
