Quote from: dave.woodhall on February 17, 2017, 10:30:50 AMAww, did the nasty Villa fans laugh at you? What is it with stripes and being sad obsessives?Well, one pretty pathetic individual took time out from painting his Warhammer soldiers to make two banners to celebrate our relegation. Just like no other fan of a team ever done. Joined in ridiculing a relegated side, sure, but going to the effort of making two banners to do that? Aberrant behaviour if you ask me. Re: obsessives, this is stoked by local media, your papers and ours love to drag it up because it gets clicks/sells papers. Quote from: LukeJames on February 17, 2017, 11:15:00 AMEmbarrasing, I thought you Geordies were big hard fellas?Football fans in holding a grudge shocker. I'm sure Villa fans don't harbour a grudge with players, managers, pundits or teams... right?Quote from: Dave P on February 17, 2017, 11:22:41 AMLet's be honest here. Whoever sent Newcastle down in 08/09 was always going to have a laugh. It just happened to be us.Also last year, we expected to be well beaten by you lot at Villa Park as we were shite. The fact you didn't, coupled with Sunderland beating Chelsea, meant we got to laugh again. It's nothing personal, it's just the fixture computer gave us a giggle. As for the game, 2-0 to Newcastle. As easy a home win as Newcastle will have all season.A laugh? Sure, going to the bother of making banners? No. Outside of local rivals I can't think of any club's fanbase going to the bother of all that childishness. We relegated Cardiff in 13/14 and after a short burst of "Going Down" we were back to being concerned with the running of our own club. No banners to mock Cardiff, only to protest our owner.

The problem with you lot is you genuinly believed all that "Everybodies 2nd favourite club" media bollocks, you take yourselves way to seriously. 8 years on and you're still crying over a fucking banner.
We just don't like you very much.
Taking time to make banners you say ...
Quote from: FrankyH on February 17, 2017, 01:56:05 PMTaking time to make banners you say ...... you realise of course that was in response to the banners you brought, right? So I'm not sure it makes the point you hoped it would.
Maybe if you weren't so far up your own Everybody's Favourite Club/Bestest Supporters in the World arses nobody would have been all that bothered. Maybe if you didn't keep dragging it up, all this would have been long forgotten. Maybe.

Maybe.Well, apart from the fact that your fellow Villa fans bring it up, your local papers bring it up and your twitter hardmen bring it up.Apart from them, maybe it would have been forgotten. Maybe. p.s. that "everyone's 2nd favourite club" wasn't invented by us, or accepted by us, it was invented by Sky and seems to persist purely because it rankles with fans of clubs like Aston Villa. None of us much give a shit.

Either way, if you don't care about us, why are you on here?
