serious question leaving Wolves out of the equation - do the other West Midland teams match our fan base  (combined).

I have a bad feeling about Sunday week, they are just horrible and will treat the match like America V North Korea with us being the good guys and them the downtrodden North Koreans.

They looked dreadful when we played them in October -as bad a team as I've seen in this division.

Just a shame we decided to play for a draw despite being 1-0 up.

Not surprised they are down there on that showing. The real surprise is they were as high as they were at the time.

I just hope if we go 1-0 up we don't sit back and invite them back into the game. It's a dangerous tactic anyway, never mind in a derby game. Hopefully it's the one game this season where our players throw the shackles off and the atmosphere drives them on to score 3 or 4.

I don't care about small heath, they don't care about me, all I care about is AVFC. Fuck em.

Wanting us to lose because of them is stooping to their level. Rather crow that they only survived because of us and that they should be grateful. They will end up wishing they had gone down such is the hatred.

You're right of course but if we lose, their demise would be an acceptable fringe benefit. And we wouldn't have to play them next season.

I too would never will us on to lose but surely given the ridiculous amount of games we've lost since 2010 another one wouldn't register. So many I've wanted us to win this season and last season and the one before we've meekly lost.

Would be a shrug of the shoulders and then a massive chuckle if it helps relegate SHA a week later.

If Small Heath lose or draw Monday and we beat them next week that's my fancy dress sorted for Blackburn away, a Blackburn shirt. No being serious it's a no brainer for me, the game has nothing riding on it for us so if us losing helped send Small Heath down then it has to be done. Imagine if us beating Blackburn kept SHA up by a point, we'd never hear the end of it.

I agree, it's not an obsession, I'd just rather not play them at all. It's unpleasant.

I want us to go into every game trying to win it, including that Blackburn game. If we did end up losing however and it sent them down, then so be it. I'd rather we win and they sent themselves down though.

Can't wish a Villa defeat , even if it helps send down small heath.
Unlike the Bitters from Sandwell , who had a knack of losing regularly to teams around us in the recent relegation battles in the Premiership.

Them staying up by a point because we beat Blackburn would kill them inside. I'll leave wanting to lose to screw up a 'rival' to small time mentality clubs like the bitters and sha.
