I can see Blackburn staying up, but at the expense of Forest. They've only won twice since beating us over 2 months ago. Although a tad bizarrely, those 2 wins were pretty comfortable ones over Brighton and Huddersfield.

Perfect scenario is we beat them on Sunday, loose to Blackburn & McCormack scores a winning goal for Forest in 4th minute of injury time on the last day.

Presuming that 51pts will be enough to keep Bristol and Burton up on goal difference, and both Rotherham and Wigan (barring some kind of miracle!) are relegated this is how it stands for final relegation place...

19. QPR: 50pts (-12)
20. Forest: 48pts (-11)
21: Blose: 47pts (-21)
22. Blackburn: 45pts (-15)

Hopefully this will still be the picture after our game against the Blue Scum tomorrow.

If it isnt Blose and I think they will survive, it would be great if QPR and Holloway went down instead

Small Heath have the worst goal difference in the league (bar Rotherham). They deserve to go down.

Would've preferred Bristol to just draw today....likely means them at home to SHA on the last day will be a nothing game now for them.

There's always a team every year who have never figured in the bottom three but come last day of the season their form finally places them there.....Here's hoping it's Small Heath's turn again !
And I know we never set out to hope our team lose but so long as we have won tomorrow then I'm all for being strategic in relation to our next season. Two of our toughest games in our quest to escape the second tier would be against our local rivals
so if we can avoid it then all well and good. It's been a long season and I think a few of our youngsters need a run out ;)

I have never wanted us to lose a game.

Quite so much.

To be honest if we play like we did today for the first hour we probably won't have to try to lose , we just will.

But funnily enough we didn't actually lose today.

I know, which just shows how shit they are. I'd prefer us and Huddersfield to win next week then they go down at the real BCFC when they lose and Blackburn beat Brentford.

Although Blackburn are the better team in my opinion (if that makes any sense) Blues will stay up - its harder being in Blackburn's spot than one or two places above.  More pressure.

Just goes to show what a good job Rowett did at the Sty.  Even if he is a bit of an anti football type manager.

He most definitely does.
