The need to vent is evident everywhere

I don’t think for one second they are oblivious to it. These guys aren’t mugs. Giving Bruce their initial backing didnt guarantee him a damn thing. Watching us splash around the arse end of the table like a fish washed up on a beach isn’t how they imagined things a few months ago. Bruce won’t last. He knows it. They know it. Getting the right bloke after is critical so my guess they are working on a list of names. Won’t shock me at all to see Mendes involved in those discussions.

Another concern I have with Bruce is that I think he is so stubborn that I don't think he will change the team and stop putting square pegs into round holes even if he realises/knows it's wrong...he wants to prove its everyone else that is in the wrong and waits for those times when we get a win to smugly say "I told you so" and "everyone is a bit happier now with a win under our belts" or "we're only ever a few games away from at crisis at Villa".

Is Bruce on a rolling contract? If so does he have to be given a period of notice to terminate this contract, if the owners want to avoid financial liabilities? Bruce clearly looks like he is playing out time, picking unbalanced teams. If notice has been given, start date and duration will obviously affect end date. I wish that were today! Bruce Out!

its reported as a one year rolling contract which would mean they have to pay him a years salary to fire him.

That is how I see it aswell. Would be well worth the money but no idea how that would affect the so-called FFP.

Maybe time to sit back and watch, there is no way this will be allowed to carry on. The championship this season does not have a wolves or Fulham and maybe not a Cardiff. West brom are ticking along and Leeds have lost there main striker. All it needs is someone to get this group playing half descent football in a cohesive way and we will sit in the top six easily. Just scratch your head for a second and look at the league table, absolutely shocking and no excuse.
