I’m surprised he’s still in a job considering the run we’re on. Maybe they’re holding back because it’s be such a struggle to get a decent new manager in?

Not sure if anyone else has mentioned it but it seems to me John Terry had far more influence on the team and it’s performance than Spud Head did last season judging by performances to date without him.

thing is, if we do end Bruce's reign in the next week or two, we are searching for a replacement in a pool of out of work managers. I doubt anyone currently in a job would jump ship in October to a Villa side floundering in the lower reaches of the Chumps. Given the cautious approach of the new owners as they feel their way into ownership, are they going to do something really imaginative and brave? If Bruce goes to me it's a hello to as familiar out of work British manager.

It’s called leadership.

After 10 games played, we're currently in 15th with 14pts and just +1 GD (Baggies and Leeds are +11 and +12 respectively). We seem to be bottom a group of 15 teams chasing the promotion places. Blose are 4pts behind us in 16th, however Bruce will argue that we're only 2pts off the playoff places, 6pts off top of the league and 8pts above Ipswich so well clear of relegation.

Bruce is currently being embarrassed by a guy who only became manager in May. He's never achieved promotion as a manager and his team have 3 more wins than us and a +10 goal difference.
Yet Bruce still thinks he knows what he's doing!
15th after 2 years, 4 transfer windows and the resources Bruce has had isn't good enough. Bruce Out!

We’re 2 points off the play offs and 5 points off top 2. We should be doing much better but because the league is basically shite we’re hardly cut adrift so there’s no reason why a decent ambitious manager wouldn’t want the job. The players are there it just needs someone who’s able to maximise the available resources.

We’ve got the bottom 2 up next. Anything less than 4 points and Bruce is definitely gone come the international break.

For what it's worth, apparently John Terry is 5/1 to be the next Villa manager.

15th in the table, with the bottom two teams in the division up next, followed by an international break.

Surely this is the perfect time to sack him?
