I will never condone the personal abuse and vitriol that is being directed at Steve Bruce by many on here, much of it oversteps the mark.

I'd say the personal abuse is quite muted and any vitriol directed at his style of play, lack of tactical nous, failure to recruit to some semblance of a plan and his continual game of shift-the-blame.
