The worst performance for a long time and a repeat of last year's horror show. Goal apart we were at best egregious . And can anyone explain the total demise of Adomah and Elmo?  The former is a cypher of the player we saw for much of last season.The owners have to act now we are going nowhere with Bruce.

The positive thing is that we are still only three points off the play off places. The negatives are that we have now failed to win in twice as many games as we have won this season, our hastily assembled squad due to the pre season issues doesn't seem any more knit together after nine games than they were in the first game and regarding our position in the league compared to the rest we are standing still at best or going backwards at worst. I think nine games is enough to judge if we are in the form to finish in the to six at the end of the season and without doing the maths I would suggest we aren't.

I will never condone the personal abuse and vitriol that is being directed at Steve Bruce by many on here, much of it oversteps the mark.

However, you cannot defend the indefensible when it comes to his awful attempts at coaching, tactics, transfer dealings, motivation etc. Time has caught up with him and the club will never truly move forward until he has left us, and preferably this evening. We all know it, the players know it, the owners know it. In his heart of hearts, even Bruce knows it too.

The time has surely come............
