I will never condone the personal abuse and vitriol that is being directed at Steve Bruce by many on here, much of it oversteps the mark.

However, you cannot defend the indefensible when it comes to his awful attempts at coaching, tactics, transfer dealings, motivation etc. Time has caught up with him and the club will never truly move forward until he has left us, and preferably this evening. We all know it, the players know it, the owners know it. In his heart of hearts, even Bruce knows it too.

The time has surely come............
