He's killing us all slowly with his football. And there he was, this fat man, torture to my eyes.
Strumming my pain with poor wingers, playing full backs the wrong side.
He stood there  flushed with fear, embarrassed by the crowd
He thought about after match words and said  each line out loud
He prayed that match would finish 0-0 but they just kept right on

Brilliant!  But what are you doing awake at that time?!!

Bruce can be rightly criticised for lots of in-game issues eg team selection, formation, tactics and substitutions
Before he even gets to match day, he should be fired for the state that he's left our back line due to his reckless transfer dealings.
A goalkeeper Nyland, who in my view is no upgrade on rdm's Gollini, yet he was quick enough to bomb him out when he arrived.
4 right backs (Elmo, RDL, Bree and Hutton) and he still brings in Axel on loan to play in that position.
1 CB (Chester)
1 left back (Taylor)
The only reason for bringing Axel in was to play him at centre back. Bruce refuses to play him there. If Terry comes in (game 9 into the season, unbelievable!) his chances of playing cb are even slimmer.
The owners and new CEO must surely see what a mess Bruce has made of our defence. Bruce out!

Maybe he's got until the end of September....Blackburn, Rotherham, Sheff Weds & Bristol are all very winnable games you'd think....under normal circumstances that is.

I'd hope the owner are not thinking like that.  An upturn in form would just mask the fact that he is an average manager.  In an ideal world Bruce will win some/most of those games which will buy the owners time to find the right man.

and that's everyone's dilemma - you don't sack someone who is winning games. The only way he'll go is if we lose half a dozen consecutively.

Yes that is the problem, with the players at his disposal, even Bruce at this level will get wins because some individual player will do something brilliant or pretty ordinary for them to get him out of jail again.

I'd say more like 2 or 3.  The vibes are there and will get toxic pretty quick if we lost a couple on the trot, or even draw winnable ones.  The way I see it, the only way Bruce keeps the job is if we go on a long winning run.

If we don’t get maximum points from Blackburn then he will finally fall on his own sword imo

If the Moscow rumours are true Bruce has lost his Get Out of Jail card.

The trouble with Bruce is that he needs it all to you right for him or he won't actually find a solution to make things better. He has one plan, and the rest is hope.

Can’t get it round my head that such an experienced football nan has read the whole situation with terry so obviously wrong.

It's not a rumour. He had a medical today and is joining them on a 10 month deal.

Hope is his plan.
By strange coincidence that's usually my plan as well for every match.
