It reminds me of Steve Coogan's swimming pool attendant on The Day Today. "Saturday, nobody died, Sunday nobody died, Monday nobody died, Tuesday nobody died, Wednesday nobody died, Thursday....somebody died.

Saturday Bruce wasn't sacked, Sunday Bruce wasn't sacked......

i have been against the appointment of Bruce from the very beginning i hate his type of football, his tactics, his transfers, all that old school managers merry go round media chumminess,
so you can say i am bias and never given him a chance, and i hold my hands up Guilty to that accusation

but i cant for the life of me think of one single reason to keep him on
even the reasons that his supporters have given in the past like -
Stability
promotion specialist
unity
sorting the defence out
chop and changing managers to quickly
Continuity
more time
makes us difficult to beat
we are not a laughing stock of embarrassment on the pitch anymore

all reasons given in the past for him to stay, none of them apply anymore
add to that the great mountain of reasons for him to go and its really a no brainer

Minimum ask has to be 6 points out of the 9, and if he manages to lose 2 games he's mince meat.

Prolonging the inevitable whilst knackering up another season in the process.  Very frustrating and embarrassing.

I'm royally pissed off that in his after match interview he was already lining up his excuses for the game in a fortnight... 'we've got 10 away on international duty which obviously doesn't help'...

Wanker who needs to bloody go. Now.

I thought it was common knowledge that whilst he pissed off Bruce with missing training, the wider issue was his dietary preferences.

Even when he was knocking them in, he wasn't the slimmest. Besides i think he himself has said he's now as light as he's ever been. It's always been a personal thing in my mind. Even Bruce himself at the time said he'd never shamed a player in public before. Maybe ross just pushes his buttons, or maybe he's still being an arse but 20 months totally banished seems a bit harsh for missing training. Mind you there's players who haven't done anything as far as we know and don't seem to get a look in either

I think what was being hinted at wasn't so much around what he was eating, rather his liquid replenishment. He'd been through a divorce/seperation and his missus had took the kids away back to wherever she was from.

Perhaps the powers to be want him gone but are still sounding out his replacement.

I think he will be here until at least the next international break. Gives us longer to sound someone out and then two weeks to get him in and up and running. Really want him out now though.

I never understand this... okay you might pick up an injury whilst on international duty - excluding this, its another game at the start of the season. Surely more proper game time the better?

No don’t care if he wins the next 3 we know that after that he will not win in the next 7 so he needs to be got rid of now.
