He's not been stinking the place out though.

No, he hasn't.

He hasn't. He's just not done enough or what could have been expected with the resources at his disposal.

Which is a pretty fair summary of it.

He's not but he is a stale fart. It's not pleasant. It's time to open the windows.

well each to there own
If you've enjoyed it then I can't argue with what people like to see but I think it's been mostly awful,
Wolves and Blues were the highlights with one or two others but they were the exceptions not the rule

i certainly won't be missing Bruce ball when it finally leaves VP

There's been plenty of people on here and twitter essentially suggesting that almost anyone would be better than Bruce

We may be about to find out how easy this job really is

The word that my pals and myself used to describe our football was "we never look convincing".

OK there was 45 minutes at Brighton in 2016 and then Bristol City & Wolves at home in 2018 but apart from that, I can't think of another game when we looked like a top 2 side.  Even the 4-1 against Norwich was laborious at times, as was the 4-2 at Sheff Wed.

The more I think about it, the more I want him gone.

Ideally he should have been relieved of his post after the Wembley disappointment however it would appear the club was a shambles leadership wise at the time - personally I would prefer an appointment of a CEO/Senior Administrator and DOF at this stage - sacking Bruce  and His "team" then appointing a new manager and backroom staff so close to the start of the season is a gamble in some far as it may hinder a promotion challenge this season - but that must be a gamble worth taking

The most important appointment is Manager, so I think they are right to get this done ASAP.
There is absolutely no point in continuing with Bruce if they know that he is not the future.
The rebuilding of the team needs to start now.

like footyskilz has said though there's only one paper running with it
the rest is just people commenting on a rumour plus internet and twitter stuff

maybe we are all getting excited or depressed over nothing at all

The worst news I could read tomorrow is that Steve Bruce stays on as manager.

I reckon I could think of one or two worse than that......

I’ll start with:

‘Pardew in Talks With Villa’

‘Cotterill in Talks With Villa’

‘Fry In Talks With Villa.’
