apparently he's one of four potentials for Leeds. Has been interviewed, so fingers crossed.

If that's true it strongly suggests that he's been told he has a week or 2 to find something else or walk away, I can't imagine he'd be interested in an interview if he'd been told he has next season.

I'd rather Bruce give up the day job get healthy again and enjoy his golf in Portugal.

Fair play to him but the fair way be much kinder.

And I like him to be kinder to himself!!

Leeds he'll be on a hiding to nothing but we can laugh from afar with his clichés and blunders however any success with them under his tenure namely a play off final next season against us and If we lost. I just couldn't handle it.

It would be gauling to see him succeed anywhere else.

Let Leeds have him though. The shoddy ownership and instability there brucey must get off on it or something!

Nice to see you to see you Go.

In that case, it must be true.

This is what's happening now some people are settling or content with championship.

I and many others though want progress and development if people are starting to be satisfied with championship life then that's both the lack of ambition villa as a club are demonstrating to fans as much as it is (and there prerogative) villa supporters view.

I don't think i've seen too many people on here say they're satisfied with the Championship. I've seen people say they've enjoyed the change from the money infested Premier League and I've seen some people say they've enjoyed winning games again but satisfied with staying down here? I doubt too many people want that.

After years of utter dross I think lots of fans are torn between winning games in this league vs competing in the top league.

For me though the style Bruce has gone for is very one dimensional and ultimately not that great to watch. That’s why a change is needed. I’d rather see a more open and expansive game with younger players blooded than the tried and tested journey man approach.

Reported by Sky Italy , then reprinted in the Express so hardly the most reliable but thats 2 links I have seen with Bruce mentioned for Leeds ..

If, and it's a big if, he has spoken to Leeds then you'd have to assume that's his time here done. If he's spoken to them behind our back (which I doubt he'd do) or we've given him permission to speak to them then it's hardly a sign of fully believing in each other.

Sounds plausible to me. The club don't have to sack Bruce or pay him off. Bruce gets a job and doesn't lose any face. Only far-fetched bit is Leeds wanting him.

Depends on perspective for some ( me ) I see him as failing at Villa given the resources however others ( like the local press) paint us almost getting there as a positive and that he is pretty much blameless .

So for Leeds they still see a Manager with 4 promotions and close to a 5th which for there recent history looks good on paper.

I like Bruce, he seems a very decent chap and he's got us being competitive again if nothing else. He has failed to get us up though so he can't really have any complaints if he is let go and to be honest, it may well be for the best. If they were to decide to stick with him (which I don't think they will) then he'll get my support again.

This is where I'm at as well
