Glad he's gone to a respectable outfit.  Good player, good attitude and came up with the goods at some very opportune moments.  Best of luck and hope to see you back in the Prem next year!

His contribution at the end of last season shouldn't be underestimated either.

Always nice to see a player depart with good wishes from the fans and he's definitely on the illustrious list of proud Irish Villains.

Spot on!

For me will always be associated with our slow revival, was integral in helping get us promoted, that goal against Albion, and then keeping us up. All the good lucks to Conor

Excellent servant to the team and played a massive role for us.  Best wishes Conor and hope to see you back at VP sometime for a proper send off.

This.

I'll be interested to see where Swansea play Conor. For me he was never a defensive midfielder, far better supporting the strikers. Unfortunately for him we're well stocked in that department.

Always thought that position suited him more and could see him scoring quite a few playing that position in the Championship.

As pretty much everyone has said, he moves on with nothing but the best wishes for him.  Seems like a top pro and a good bloke to boot, and has made some important contributions on the pitch during his time at the club.

Good luck to him. Will always have fond memories of his goals and assists. A decent servant to the club.

I said a few weeks back I expected him to move this window not because we didn't want him but because I just couldn't imagine him accepting sitting on the bench every week, he just wants to play. That attitude is why he's got back up to the top flight and it's why he'll do well wherever else he ends up in his career. Top bloke with the perfect attitude but just not quite enough in the tank to compete for a spot with players like Grealish, McGinn and Luiz.

He signed alongside Lansbury but the difference in attitude and performance between them was always clear but now 1 is going out on loan because he's desperate to play whilst the other was happy to not even be in the 25 man squad so long as he kept getting paid.

Yes, a fine comparison.

Also, he came back from getting booed off the pitch a few months before against the same opponents to hit that glorious thunderbastard in the play off semi final, that's a measure of the man.

He may have lacked a bit of pace, but he didn't lack heart. Good luck fella.

Great professional for us and a rare breed in coming up the leagues. Suspect for a couple of seasons that we will be saying "wish Conor was here to take this" when we get a free kick 25 yards out....
