Swansea fans seem universally excited by the move, as well they should be.

He's a top signing for a club chasing promotion, no doubt. Pure end product.

Any coming on here to look at our opinions of Conor will be chuffed with the last few pages, pretty much universal praise and well wishes.

He's scored some fantastic goals for us not solely from set pieces, although I reckon on average about 1 in 5 that he took within range ended up in the opposition net.

Swansea's chances of promotion just increased.

Most likely we wouldn't have been promoted nor stayed up last season without him. For that alone he deserves a lot of thanks. For the £3m fee he gave us much more return than many others.

Some wonderful assists & crucial goals, the best of which were against the Noses, Norwich & WBA.

A big thankyou Conor & best of luck.

I'd like to see his shots to goals stats with us as a midfielder, I reckon it's one of the highest.  Good luck to him with Swansea.

Just compare his value for money compared to some other characters over the last few years.

Yes but eastie will not only know the name he will also know all the names they considered and discarded and how many times Conor and his partner have fallen out many times over the name choice.

Think it is mad to let him go with how many games we are going to play.

Still, he has provided some great moments and played a crucial role in getting us back to where we should always be. Hope he does well at Swansea.

Depends really, if he's gone to free up the space to bring Sanson in (as seems to be the plan) then I think it's ok, Sanson seems a much better fit for the pace we want to play at.
