If I was Steve Bruce I would get John Robertson in coaching staff to work on our wingers and full backs. I think he still live in Birmingham.

Why when he failed to do it when he was here the first time? Other than that I don't think he's in the best of health.

The wingers yes, but I'd rather he didn't teach our full backs how to become lumpen, out of position centre haves, thanks.

Ayew looks like a sulky twat

Why is his appearance relevant?

Not his appearance the way he carries himself body language

imo Ayew is  worth persevering with, definitely has a touch but his decision making/awareness needs to improve, with better players round him could be a game changer.

Let's see what Jack's like with the new midfield behind him. He's been playing in a shit team for a lot of the time, one that would probably make many good players look crap.

I thought we'd been knocked back by Bury with that 750,000 offer.

My mates an Olympiakos fan, he saw the news and was excited as he remembers Cissokho as an exciting young attacking full back at Lyon, I had to break it to him gently.

They rejected two bids. According to some sources (a couple of journalists and Twitter) they've accepted our third bid and he's set to have a medical.

With regards to Jack, the fact that he's getting boxed in by up to three defenders at a time which the rest of the midfield hasn't been exploiting is enough for me to say we still haven't seen everything he can do. Our opponents have all known that if you can stop him from getting space we have no one else who is really going to hurt them in the transition between the defenders and the forwards. With a more even contribution through the midfield I see him being one on one more often or if he is against two defenders we should have the other midfielder able to find a two on one in our favour elsewhere. When the next ball actually causes some damage the neat little sideways passes when he's under pressure look so much better. He almost always finds an outball, just the mids we have can't do anything with it
