Likely to be bollocks as it's in the Mirror.

Lansbury’s move could still go through, but it will need a licensed agent to sign it off.

I don't understand this bit.  Are you obliged to have an agent?  Can't you just sign the documents as yourself?

You approach an agent first though. You can't approach a player.

Hourihane and Lansbury, Jedinak sitting, with Grealish and Adomah wide. Kodjia up top.

Play offs easy peasy.

Normal back 5, unless we get Bree in too.

Get Bree in aswell as tHat still means Hutton's marauding runs down the right that endanger Row H of the Holte!

Thank God for that. When I saw the link I thought we were in for Blackstock himself. Lansbury looks a right dick in that photo

You approach an agent first though. You can't approach a player.

Gary Neville used to negotiate his own contracts at United. Given that he was a one club player who knows whether he would have been able to handle negotiations himself or not.

Lansbury does seem like and act like a spunktrumpet but I think he's what we lack, someone who other teams hate. We've got Gardner and Westwood, two wet farts.

We need gobshites. We've been far too nice for as long as I can remember.

Really like the look of that line up.  Although I had Karen Brady down as more of a right winger.

Don't think Brady will come if rumours  of £12m being spouted earlier in this thread are true

£1m bid in for Hourihane apparently.

Source?

The Sun says we have offered to pay him £28,000 per week and have bid £1.25 million.

Erm, so again, source?

Erm.

Assuming you mean the original source as opposed to the news outlet, my best guess would be anybody who might benefit from the story, which would be the player's agent or the selling club's agents.

Forest takeover has fallen through. No idea what that will mean for the Lansbury deal.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/38518884

Nottingham Forest: Club's proposed American takeover falls through

Owner and chairman Fawaz Al Hasawi first revealed he would consider selling Nottingham Forest in March
Nottingham Forest's proposed takeover by a United States-based consortium led by John Jay Moores has collapsed, according to owner Fawaz Al Hasawi.

The Championship club, under a transfer embargo, had been in talks with the former owner of San Diego Padres.

However, Al Hasawi, who took control at the City Ground in 2012, says negotiations have "come to an end".

"A deal as it stands is not in the interests of the long-term future of our club," said the Kuwaiti.

"We feel strongly that we have acted in good faith on behalf of the club and its fans."

In October, it was reported that Moores, who had previously been interested in buying Premier League side Everton, was on the verge of securing a £50m deal to take an 80% stake in the East Midlands club.

The American was reportedly ready to finalise the deal on 22 December, but was waiting for final sign-off from Al Hasawi.

Two-time European Cup winners Forest are 20th in the Championship after 25 games, two points above the relegation places.

The Lansbury saga is becoming a farce! First the takeover was blocking the move - that's collapsed, now the Blackstock glitch! You get the feeling this isn't destined to happen!

Hard to know what this means, except that the players won't have any particularly boost ahead of tomorrow's game against Small Heath, unfortunately.

It could always be like the Ellis/Lerner sale where it was off one week then back on the next.
