See I must be less down on Gollini than some people. He's made some mistakes, but I think overall he looks a really promising goalie.

Agree. I have seen less games this season obviously but when I have seen him play Gollini looks like a very talented but young keeper. I see him getting better not worse.

Wouldnt say no to some bench strength mind.

I'm possibly similar to you, maybe slightly more concerned.

I thought that Elphick was more to blame than Gollini for the Huddersfield goal and thought that he had done very well since then.

His shot stopping has been outstanding but his commanding of his area lets him down.  The Leeds game was an absolute disaster and may have been the decider for Bruce.

Personally, given the choice from a young Man U kid or Hulls 3rd choice, I'd prefer to stick with what we've got.  If we were signing Joe Hart, I'd be happy to go along with it.

I don't know much about Carl Jenkinson other than every Arsenal fan seems to think he's shit,
Every Arsenal fan thinks Wenger is shit not that I want Jenkinson!

Sam Johnstone from Man Utd is the incoming keeper according to the Birmingham Mail.
Pointless. Need an experienced keeper
And we shouldn't be a development route for other clubs players.

We definitely need another keeper in though likewise I'd have gone for more experience

I quite like Gollini but he's cost us a lot of goals already

Jenkinson would be a huge upgrade on Hutton though I'd prioritise centre back cover and a better central midfielder

Sat there today I actually thought Joey Barton alongside Jedinak would make a good combination...at first I felt sick thinking it but I couldn't shake that it would work.

On reflection, I don't think we can pin the first goal on Gollini: the cross was the best piece of a poor game and the scorer's movement foiled our CB. Gollini was caught in the crossfire.
I think he's been okay and, importantly, getting better.

as soon as the leeds player hit that ball , I thought oh no this is a beauty and could been a bugger to defend and proved it did.

i think he has made some great saves to be fair to him , it seems when he plays with Boon he starts looking crap in the air .

but please a midfielder , a RB and a fit CB too , even if its Bruce forsyth at the back. And Rudy can go .

So we want to replace Gollini because he's too inexperienced for the league and replace him with a player who has never turned out for the first team? Can somegone explain that logic please?

Doesn't make any sense.

Les Sealey would be ideal for this team. We need a strong character.

I think Gollini has done well - especially considering his age and experience. He has a confidence to him I like and he seems to be improving too as the defense around him gets stronger. We have the fourth best defensive record in the league. Saying that I'd like to see an experienced cover for him that is an improvement on Bunn as well as another experienced centre half to get us through the season. It's scoring goals that remains the problem. As well as another midfielder I think we need a strong out and out striker - an upgrade on Gestede.
