Still, £1,300 win from the bookies softens the blow somewhat.

My reaction to the equaliser was a smile at your earlier bet suggestion rather than throwing my phone at the wall.

So we're both winners in a way.

I'm hunting you two down with a sawn off shotgun (Fawlty towers reference, u think)

Fuck me! You must have been confident. I followed your tip and I'm now £15 to the good. Thanks, in a way. Wink.

Seemed like extremely generous odds as I said earlier today, very good value indeed given our track record.

Sherwood, Remi Garde and now RDM. Why are we paying these guys to be SPECTATORS to the same bi-weekly horror show? Are we not allowed to at least expect them to TRY to change the horrible inevitable end!

I can't really see how it's a mental thing when we have so many new players.  Dross like Westwood, sure, but in Gollini, Elphick, Chester, De Laet, Kodija, and Jedinak, it's almost an entirely new side.

You're probably right, but footballers do have a reputation for being superstitious.  Once it's happened once or twice, they might start waiting for it to happen anyway.

I didn't see any of tonight's game, but I've been underwhelmed with Elphick and I'm really struggling to see this spine of leaders of men we're supposed to have transplanted in.  It still looks like they're playing with a live bomb once you get into the last 10 minutes and just wallop it as far away as possible.

Outplayed at home to Brentford. They fully deserved a result. Apart from Kod and Ayew in flashes we were fucking woeful second half.

Yep again. I don't know what happens at half time but they need to change it.

We take the lead the opposition attack we go to water, how many times do we have to see this happen? Brentford ffs we are Aston Villa nearly 30.000 turned up to watch, sorry but we are done with giving managers time, he has had all the players he wanted and still we are pissed over by teams that should not be on the same pitch as us. Too many managers given too much time only to prove they are not up to it. We are Aston Villa we deserve better.

They were. Won't be seeing anything close to 14/1 for a long time I would've thought.

Get Dean Smith in.  True Villa fan and a better fcukin organiser of teams than Di Matteo.

I said the other day that sacking RDM now would be the stuff of Leeds, but I am starting to think that we are currently looking so much like Leeds that we might as well cut our losses.

I just can't be fucking arsed to put up with more of it. I looked at our score with half an hour to go, and despite having zero idea what was unfolding on the pitch, i KNEW we'd fail to win.

1 win so far is so far from acceptable, it is untrue.

Yup. Does not offer what we need. Adds no value. Has just been making up the numbers for the past few seasons.
