This consistent thing of dropping off in second halves is killing us week in week out. How can they not address it? Where are all these leaders we bought?

Jedinak sounded very average tonight. Hopefully opening night nerves, otherwise we could be frigged (more than we are).

I can't really see how it's a mental thing when we have so many new players.  Dross like Westwood, sure, but in Gollini, Elphick, Chester, De Laet, Kodija, and Jedinak, it's almost an entirely new side.

Appalling, performance shit, set up even worse. Ain't going up this year we will throw games all season, tonk someone my arsehole, it will be wake up time again like last season. Manager has failed to react this season and its costing us points. Great, looks like we've got another fucking thicko.

Complety sick of it, 4 times in 7 games already plus 2 beatings. This division isn't fun it's fucking crap and were too shit to do anything in it.

Good job we bought all those leaders otherwise we'd be struggling.

No team in the championship is afraid of playing us either at home or away. They can all see we are just an ordinary team who under any sort of pressure will always concert goals.

Still, £1,300 win from the bookies softens the blow somewhat.

My reaction to the equaliser was a smile at your earlier bet suggestion rather than throwing my phone at the wall.

So we're both winners in a way.

I'll buy you a pint!

Fuck me! You must have been confident. I followed your tip and I'm now £15 to the good. Thanks, in a way. Wink.

The midfield is so fucking pedestrian its like having cardboard cut outs on the pitch.

I expected to see Championship teams park-the-bus at Villa Park, just never thought it would be Villa...shocking tactics in the 2nd half...sitting way too deep.

I have no idea what Ipswich are like nowadays, but this stonking win we're all convinced will happen one day could do with happening on Saturday, for all our sakes.

We could get larrupped against the Jawdies. That would be a very difficult position for Di Matteo to find himself in.

We have to get away from this mentality on the pitch.

People keep saying stuff like 'Brentford / Rotherham / Forest / Newcastle are a good side'.  They are not good sides - they are at best average.  We are well stocked in terms of quality players to dominate most teams in this league now.  It's a mentality and organisation issue.  We have 5 to 6 match winners in the squad an have bought a new defence, all proven at this level or above.  If RDM can't sort it out he needs to go sooner rather than later because drifting along in the fucking championship is not an option for Aston Villa.

Outplayed at home to Brentford. They fully deserved a result. Apart from Kod and Ayew in flashes we were fucking woeful second half.

I was listening to it on Radio WM , they absolutely loved that. Twats.

I have no idea what to say re the game. It is amazing just how much of a habit the late conceding has become. :(

I listened and have no idea what you're on about. They commentated how shit we are, said what we all said we needed to do and stated how Brentford clearly deserved something from the game.
