Utter bollocks. RDM has to be on borrowed time. Xia didn't make all these investments to be sat firmly in the bottom half of the table. Not good enough at all.

Tactically he doesnt seem that good
Dire, plus i feel we cocked up on purchasing midfielders, and Gollini, Tommy and Chester haven't convinced me they're any good yet either.

You can't leave a player free at your back post in the last minute of a game when you've already conceeded 5 late goals in recent weeks and have two left backs on the pitch.

Play a fucking proper formation on Saturday.

Too weak, too thick, too arrogant. We weren't prepared to fight for a win, so we didn't get it.

Get used to Championship football, because it's here to stay for at least two seasons.

These late goals must mean it's either a fitness thing or a mental thing. Last season I'd have gone fitness but these are new players, are they mentally fragile? Should we bring in someone to help them to not be such fragile capitulators?

Eyebrows raised at lineup, thought we'd either blow them or away and get swamped and once they got their act together we were simply overrun. Managers got it wrong again but its still too early for him to be sacked. Everyone on this thread knew what was going to happen as the game went on, I don't ever remember a side gifting as many late equalisers as we do. Four home games and six points from them is very disappointing. Two up front and two proper wingers and we'll be fine but I sure cant see us going up this year automatically. We're not a bad side now and that's the frustrating thing.

We could get larrupped against the Jawdies. That would be a very difficult position for Di Matteo to find himself in.

It wasn't the inevitable late concession so much as the being outplayed for the last 55 minutes by a side tipped to finish outside the play-off places that should set alarm bells ringing. The entire staff of Villa have training facilities, lifestyles and resources beyond the wildest dreams of most of this division but organisation and bravery can't be bought so easily. The jury is clearly out on Di Matteo but you'd expect more of an influence from men with the experience of Bond and Clarke.

And how much for Jedinak?! Pardew might be a bit of a twat but he's not stupid.

Still, £1,300 win from the bookies softens the blow somewhat.

My reaction to the equaliser was a smile at your earlier bet suggestion rather than throwing my phone at the wall.

So we're both winners in a way.

Just so fed up of not being able to win games. What is wrong with our football club? Never ending gloom!
