I'd be inclined to get Chester in straight away, if we can. We need to win this game and if we do things will look a lot better.

I'm going for a 1-1 here. First poin,t but more importantly the start of a 16 game unbeaten run.................................

999 .............................  send the men in white coats please ;D

Can somebody remind me what an unbeaten run is?

It's when you get a draw, then there's an international break, from what I remember.

The exact opposite of last season.

By my reckoning, our longest unbeaten run in a season since Pubhead flounced off is 6. We did manage 9 over 2 seasons, ending 10/11 3 unbeaten and starting 11/12 6 unbeaten. We haven't won 3 in a row since he left. Those stats are for consecutive games in all competitions rather than just the league.

Apparently we'll be welcoming Dr Tone on the pitch before kick-off tomorrow. Hope he doesn't do a Delia

A Team America Kim Jong Il style rant would be awesome. I'll get my coat.

BBC Sport saying he wasn't signed in time, unfortunately.

I would go 4-4-2 personally

Gollini

Bacuna
Elphick
Chester
Cissokho

Grealish
Tishbola
Westwood
Amavi

McCormack
Ayew

I think Amavi just needs to be let loose going forward more, so stick him down the left and give Grealish a more free role from the right.

Think it will be a cruise to victory tomorrow, Rotherham are second favourites to go down and I'm expecting Grealish to have a field day with Amavi down our left.

I'm convinced we will look back at that Luton game in a few months as a turning point as it's warranted an immediate centre half signing plus the death knell for a few more Villa careers. It's now abundantly clear to RDM and Xia that there is no returning to the fold for numerous players still on the payroll which is a big positive.

Let's just hope we have the likes of Toner and Lyden on the bench tomorrow and the  Starksy and Hutch wannabes are told to piss off and stay at home.
