The 20 weeks BG is a depressing thought, when you think of the huge job that needs doing here and will not start until the sale which is obviously not as iminant as we hoped.

And for every season we spend in the championship there will be another 3 teams with 100 million to spend on players

Well done Eric, you somehow manged to keep your 100% lose record as a caretaker manger. When i heard that there was 5 minutes stoppage time i thought  not even Villa can lose this one .Then when i heard we had brought Sanchez on who you just know will give the ball away and to send on Sinclair who has managed to contribute sod all most of the season you proved me wrong Hurry up and leave

League one I'm afraid unless there are any dramatic changes.

The sale Chicago is a mirage.  A land of goals and wins and smiles shimmering on the horizon but never actually materialising.

On days like today I think Lerner is like the man who wants to sell his house but does not really want to move.  Shows you round, shows you the nice garden, the double glazed windows, even the rising damp under the stairs.  He reluctantly accepts your offer, shakes your hand limply then as you walk through the front door tells you there are several other people interested.  That, my friends, is what I think has been happening ever since he put the club on the market.  He is a Messer.

Don't worry Black says that today was a small step to winning over the fans. That's right, today - the day we equalled our record for consecutive defeats. I would hate to see them if they were trying to piss us off.

Keep the fans, Villa Park and maybe the tea-lady...get rid of all the rest. Soiling Villas proud history in this manner is beyond shameful. Noone even remotly assosiated with this squad is untainted. Rot starts with the owner and goes all the way down to the core.
Yep, we've got an iconic ground with an excellent playing surface.[/b[ We've got very good training facilities. And some of the staff have escaped redundancy.

Erm, that's about it.

I'm prepared to admit I could be wrong, but I'm sure we've won everything we've ever won when our pitch has been, at best, a bit shit.

There is logic in what you say LFS.  Better sides play better on better surfaces.  We are not one of the better sides.

Yes TV but the problems are so intractable they could take two seasons of more to be properly rectified.  We have not even got sight of the start of all the changes that need to happen and the new season is only 20 weeks away.

Not that I want to sound or appear naive Brian but a lot will change in that span of time. And we don't need to start the season with the work completed we just need to finish it with the job done and promotion secured. The season is a long one and I hope with the right changes we will improve over the next 52 weeks not just the next 20.

when you start breaking things down i would imagine that the new manager is going to have about 6 weeks to work with the players before the season starts

Just looking for positives, that's all.
Oh and one of the BMH tea ladies has got a fine set of juggs.
Positives end.

There are no positives. Not one. We are shit and have no manager.
