We will start next season as unprepared and unfit as we did last season.  Nothing at Villa Park is being done with any sign of urgency.  We are still sleep walking.
Did anyone from the club ever explain why the players didn't do a pre-season?
The alarm bells are ringing for next season, and I'm fearing the worst. Good intentions and good words will fix nothing. The clubs a sick puppy and It needs some radical action, and soon.

The really depressing thing is we've got more of this to come next season. This utter shitness won't magically change. The club is fundamentally broken.

It will change (be it for better or - if possible - worse) as soon as the fuckwit owner leaves.  Every single ounce of this shit I put  down to him.  He has really fucked up this great football club.

If there's one thing that can't be brought into question about Randy Lerner, it's his ability to fuck things up. I simply can't see him not fucking up any takeover.

I agree.  In fact, I genuinely don't believe he will sell the Club.  I firmly believe he is stringing us along again in the stubborn hope things will magically sort themselves out.

I begrudgingly and fearfully have to agree with this. Until we see something, anything concrete on the EXACT people he is in negotiations with, and statements to accompany it, I simply cannot believe the 'advanced stages' crap. Just ONE thing we want him to do like a competent human being.

Twice we have played Watford this season, twice they have looked terrible and twice they have beaten us 3-2. This team is just used to losing, it has no belief whatsoever. People talk about win percentages for managers but what must some of the win percentages for these players look like? The likes of Clark and Westwood? Let alone the players who joined this season, who can't possibly have a win percentage better than 8% because the club can't better that this season.

People talk about keeping the players who have better attitudes next season but most of them are so downtrodden now that I can't see it working. As soon as the going gets tough and sides try to rough us up at Villa Park, they will fold. They always fold.

Watford are a team containing a lot of dross - journeymen, lower league triers and even fairly expensive foreign players who have largely flopped. They put one decent run together this season and it kept them up.  We are incapable of the smallest achievements and it really is a shambles.

I have to say, i burst out laughing in disbelief when i came on here and saw the title of this thread. Surely it was harsh, as we were winning when my stream went off at 89 mins.

I'm not sure i've ever seen 3 centre halves all being left footed before, either. If Richards was fit to be on the bench, he was fit to be on the right hand side; regardless of how disinterested he is.

Cissokko is never ever in a gazillion years a wing back.

Has he got coaching badges, this pillock currently "managing" us?  If so, what the hell do they teach them when they earn these badges!

It's gonna take a lot of sweeping changes at the club to remotely get me interested again, as i'm so dis-engaged it's unreal.

Keep the fans, Villa Park and maybe the tea-lady...get rid of all the rest. Soiling Villas proud history in this manner is beyond shameful. Noone even remotly assosiated with this squad is untainted. Rot starts with the owner and goes all the way down to the core.

As with Dim Tim at Leicester, Black has to take the rap for this. When Cissokho went, it should have been 4 at the back, with another MF coming on when subs were being made.
Shame, they played well in parts and some players were making a real effort.

Troy Deeney, a nose, scored 3 times in 2 games to help fucking Watford do the double over us. Fucking hell. You couldn't make it up.

Croatian, I got the impression there was no pre season because Timmy was too busy trawling the Tottenham rejects bin and trying to get approval for mega wages for his bestie mates (witch doctor's fees included).

Could not agree more curious.  We fart arse and faff about with everything we do.  There is no dynamism about the club.  You get the picture of all the yes men and women waiting for Lerner to call from his country club or his golf course so they can get instructions.  If he does not call the decisions do not get made.

Shirley). Will you phone Mr Lerner?

Tracey)  No You do it. I called him last time.

Shirley)  What shall I say?

Tracey)  Just say a man phoned who wants to buy the club.

Shirley) But I have forgotten his name.  He said it so quick.

Tracey)  Just say a Chinese gentleman.

Shirley) I think I will wait until he calls back.  So I can get his name right.

Tracey)  Good idea.  Is that the time?

Chauvinistic pig. Poor girls.

Absolutely

I haven't even been giving the new manager situation the slightest thought.

What's the point? There is so much that is wrong, the identity of the manager will change nothing.

Not read many of the threads, so apologise if this has already been said. Why the feck is this donut playing some of these players who we all know have been dogs poo and will be off in the summer, yet leave someone like Grealish on the bench. Give the kids a chance rather than these losers

Yep, we've got an iconic ground with an excellent playing surface. We've got very good training facilities. And some of the staff have escaped redundancy.

Erm, that's about it.

Edit: Forgot to add the unbelievable support.
