There's some games where you can at least pick a man of the match and today you couldn't, they were all terrible. Why he picked Richardson was anyone's guess. It didn't make any sense.

if it was to put these turds in the shop window , then what a fart blast that was.

academic though isn't it - the reality is, we were relegated months ago, probably after Tim's Leicester fuckup, only we didn't realise it.

that was when our balloon was definitely pricked

Away at Sunderland and Norwich killed us

Some of our greatest historical figures may have been Scots but Eric Black is the latest in a line of relatively recent Scottish managers and caretakers  - from McNeill, through McLeish, Lambert and McDonald - who have offered little apart from dour negativity and clueless tactical fuckwittery.  I know it's irrational but I'd be quite happy to never see another Scot as manager at Villa unless Ferguson fancies a last hurrah.

That 62/63 record of 11 straight league defeats is going to be beaten isnt it, one last humiliation before we bow out of the top flight, I fuckin despair.

The 12th game would be Newcastle at home.  We'll do something saft like draw at Manure though.

I think we'll equal it. They are the next worse team and we should get something - they are a zombie team whereas we are dead

The only remaining positive is we relegate Newcastle. As shit as we've been, if we sent them down again I would laugh.

He picked Sinclair & Richardson to give cover to the full backs, how about trying to get on front foot rather than play for a 0-0

Maximum respect for those who still can muster anger & fury - me I just want this over with

Sat in the upper Bolts, fans were great.

As for the game. What the fucking fuck did Eric Cack put Richardson in for? Useless clown of a footballer and no future at the club, playing left mid. Missed a sitter that my 90 year old mother in law would have stuck away, nice from Adama though. We play with wingers, sort of, but no Gestede, when last week, no wingers but Gestede plays. Gana playing further forward, offered nothing but at least made tackles. How the fuck did Richardson stay on for over 80 minutes? Clark and yet another stupid mistake. They had three goes at that same corner routine before Bournemouth got it right and scored. Idiotic defending. There is no way on God's earth that there was 31000 fans in that stadium today.  I guess they go on tickets sold? 25000 at the absolute most for me.  One shot on target in the whole match. We scored from it, so something to cheer about I suppose. Bacuna, Sissokho and Westwood were shit, as usual and flapper Guzan does what he does.  Got to rip it apart and rebuild.  Get the new man in this week.

Yep it's tickets sold rather than amount through the turnstiles. I think a lot of ST holders gave today a miss.

I reckon so PWS. I'd love to know what the real attendance was.

If ever further proof was needed that the official Villa News & Record has sunk as low as the team in recent times, it was confirmed in today's edition:-

Page 4, Eric Black's word: '...today marks an important day in the club's calendar as we celebrate Acorns Day. Although I have only been here for a few months, I've learned a lot about the special relationship between Aston Villa Football Club and Acorn's Children's Hospice'.

Just three pages later on Page 7, the thoughts of Micah Richards: 'Today's match marks Acorns Day and I've learned a lot in the past year about the special relationship between the club and its charity partner'.

Either Black and Richards have remarkably similar thoughts, and manner of elucidating them, or those words were made up on their respective behalfs; I know which I believe to be true.

On page 15 under 'Sid's Star XI' it lists eleven names comprising five of his former team mates at Villa, five of his former team mates for England, and Shearer who he played with at Blackburn. It then goes on to repeat all eleven names; why?.

On page 27, 'Memories of (the World Cup) 1966', it states that 'the club's final home match of 1965-66, a 3-0 victory over Arsenal, took place on 16th April...'. No it didn't! We played Burnley at home on 16th April, beating them 2-1; the Arsenal game (yes they got the score correct!) was played two weeks later on 30th April. It just so happens that these were my first two Villa matches ever, to which my late father took me, and I'll be celebrating the 50th anniversary of the former next Saturday by travelling to Old Trafford to see us relegated (yes I know we'll almost certainly be down by then).

There's probably loads more mistakes / embarrassments but I gave up at that point. I wonder how many fans know that Wycombe Wanderers turned into Birmingham City in the F.A. Cup 3rd round replay programme in January. The club printed 1,000 correct copies in the days following the game, to satisfy the staff and directors of Wycombe Wanderers and collectors like me!

Just watching MOTD. Palace-Norwich. Now granted Palace have been on a really poor run but one little thing stood out for me, and that was Jason Puncheons reaction to scoring his first goal in 27 games. He was reduced to tears. It meant something to him. It showed passion. We have no one near to showing anything like that sort of passion. The closest is Ayew.

This squad needs shredding. Turf the majority out to the bins and bring through some passionate youngsters and some decent pros. Most of our squad are scum...sub human scum.
