We haven't scored in a while so must be due a goal. I think we'll delay the inevitable next week by beating bormuff.

My lad has a football tournament at 10am and could go on all day so I'm toying with the idea of not bothering with the Bournemouth game at all. Rather watch young kids with desire and passion than those overpaid pricks.

Poor lad has had his first ST this year. Seen one win (Palace was a school night) absolute disgrace. He still wants to go again next season though. Could have killed off other young lads from following us though you'd imagine.

I'm in work so will probably be annoyed for about 15 minutes then settle down with a beer to enjoy the Grand National at the end of my shift.

So I'll probably be bothered about it for 15 minutes more than the entire playing staff - the useless bunch of shysters!

I'm surprised the club have the gall to advertise these last few home games as 'competitive fixtures'.  They may as well give tickets away.  If I didn't have a season ticket, I wouldn't pay to watch this bunch of half-arsed wastrels.

Perversely, I thought about getting tickets for this, just to see the club off. But I know I'd get overwhelmed by the frustration and upset of everybody else. I'd much rather shrug it off at home.

I'll watch them all troop off. Be grateful that the inevitable has finally happened at and look forward to the club dealing with it and moving on (which looks more likely now than a few weeks back). Then I'll speculate on a more positive season for 2016/17. It'll be my third  Villa relegation - each of them has eventually led to some great new moments and experiences -it's the life of a football supporter.

A word of advice. Anyone choosing to stay until the final whistle, whatever you do, DO NOT put your hand anywhere near your face. If you do, you'll be snapped by the Mail, accused of wiping away tears and plastered across the front page with words 'Tears for Villa' or other such bollocks.

Be it tomorrow or next Saturday I'd like to see a bit of dignity - we're not bloody coventry city so please no 'we'll be back' banners.

I'm not sure which would be worse, tomorrow at home or away at ot.

Never dreamt I'd be so resigned to something as important to me for so many decades that I'd be facing it with a degree of apathy - my younger self would be absolutely disgusted by me.

The only tears we want to see is those of the players who have totally humiliated the Club this season.

A Kaiser Chiefs chorus of

"Oh my God I don't believe it"
"Your not fit to ever wear a Villa Shirt"

will sadly not affect their Bank Balances but may cause some embarrassment (wishful thinking on my part no doubt)

Should let the on field inadequates know how the fans feel about them.

This.  I don't want to see any Geordie style tears around me.  Take it on the chin, keep your head up and get on with it.  These lazy, arrogant jokers have embarrassed the club enough without us losing our dignity by blubbing.

Anyone over the age of ten who stands there sobbing wants to take a long, hard look at themselves in the mirror.  Relegation hasn't exactly come as a shock, has it.

Think on my way out tomorrow I will look around and feel a bit sad thinking of the great opportunity we have missed over the last few years to become a great side. Wasted opportunities that may be hard to come by again. Like James said....if I hadn't seen such riches I could live with being poor.

You can guarantee some wet flannel will cry tomorrow when we go down, just to get their face on MOTD and in all the papers. There can be no other reason why they would cry, we've been down for months.
