Just Fuck Off. Fuck Off right now.
Much as I don't like the words I believe in this case very appropriate. Well done Lerner for managing, a once great club, to this humiliation you clueless arsehole.

At least Westwood had the decency to acknowledge the fans at the end, along with Hutton.

It is quite unbelievable that Bacuna and Westwood were given 5 (yes five) year contracts last year. Makes you want to weep.

It means we'll get good transfer fees for them both when Champions League clubs come in for them (!)

I've been going since I was 8 and that's the worst Villa performance I've ever seen.

The 11 on the pitch aren't Villa. The people in the boardroom aren't Villa. We in the stands are Villa and we still be when they have all gone.

It's going to be a long road but we will rise again.

The fans need to do something then. If that means storming the pitch or lobbing sea loads of white flags or tennis balls on the pitch then so be it.

The gutless morons on the pitch, on the sideline and in the directors box deserve no support that much is clear.

The future of AVFC is at stake imo, we have no chance of getting promoted if the status quo remains.

I can only concur with everyone else on here in that in 55 years supporting villa that's the most embarrassing I've ever felt.
Those gutless spineless wonders do not deserve to wear the shirt of this once famous club but the blame is squarely at Lerners door he should be ashamed that he is the worst custodian in our clubs history bar none, even worse than the board of 68.
I said on here before villa fans have shown such restraint but now I think a boycott of the remaining games is the only way we can send a message that we have had enough.

It has taken me some time to figure out who I am most angry at.

I have decided its the board. Well Lerner, Hollis & Fox specifically. No transfers is an outrage. This is one of the many consequences.

As I live 12 hours flight away please accept digital my "fuck off!" as if it was within earshot.

It's definitely the board, but principally Lerner. All of the decisions over the last decade that have led us to this place ultimately stop at his door. Basically anything that he could get wrong he has got wrong and now we lie in ruins.

Throughout all of the shitness, the slow, sad decline of recent seasons, I never imagined things could become this utterly, completely abject.

It's beyond humiliation. It is a clusterfuck of scarcely believable proportions.

To say we need a clearout is like saying the public bogs in Palfrey Park could do with a bit of Jif.

The boardroom needs to be steam-cleaned, and every last trace of dithering, dim-witted Shummanite needs to be eradicated.

It's not unbelievable to me because they will have been seen as cheap players who we would not want to lose as they aren't on a huge amount and we would have to go thorugh the expense and effort of replacing them if we let their contract tick down.

They're shit mind the pair of them and should have been given a 5 minute contract never mind 5 years.

True man, true, but the other two did not need to parrot his bullshit about "spending money isnt the solution."

Christ what a state. It sure would be nice to enjoy football again.

Lowest I've felt as a Villa fan in 25 years of following them. Just looking at the team sheet is enough to put me off for the rest of my life. Someone at the club has to show some guts, some ambition to make the hard decisions that are going to be needed.

Strip out the rotten core of below average players and install some pride. Currently there is none.

I heard Dennis Mortimer on the radio on the way home after the match and he more or less said everything i and everyone around me was thinking. He thought we might lose one or two nil but never in his wildest dreams could he  have imagined  such a performance lacking in pride, passion  and worst of all effort.Sad days indeed for our once great club
