Hopefully Durham won't be tempted to go for it. Nice boring draw there will be fine.

Seems like Trott and Vaughan wont be sending each other Christmas cards anymore.
Regardless of the truth or otherwise of the claims made, Michael Vaughan has developed into, and pardon my language, a bit of a prick.

Vaughan questions the honesty and integrity of a man whose honesty and integrity he has questioned inexchange for payment for a column he writes. I won't name any names but a writer  who works with the TMS team was happy to confirm he's a deeply unpleasant man who is primarily driven by money. Unless there is something in it for him he's not interested.

When my brother was on TMS he said he was made to feel very welcome by all the team who were keen to know about the work his charity did, all bar one person.

I know several people who have had dealings with him and not one of them has a good word to say about him. Vaughan that is,not my brother!

If nothing else, he deserves pelters for that awful advert he is currently in.

It isn't difficult to imagine him being a bit of a ****.

Hampshire have declared with a lead of 295.

I'm not sure what to think about this from their point of view.  The important thing today was always taking 10 wickets, yes they had to add some runs to give them the option to be very attacking but I wonder if they've left themselves too much to do. Durham have no need to try to chase down the total for the win so by giving them a tougher target they're offering no real incentive for Durham to play their shots, 240-250 might have been a better idea.  We'll see I guess and if they don't win this it will be the piss poor bowling yesterday that costs them not the decision made today.

Can't blame them, they need a draw to stay up. A wicket or two before lunch would be lovely.

ETA: not in Southampton.

Proper cricket!

Looks like a draw at Lord's, if Middlesex set a target I can see Willey opening the batting with Lyth.

With my Moto G in portrait mode and Edgbaston WiFi covering a section of the screen with their advert it is a wonder that any messages make sense.
