Seems like Trott and Vaughan wont be sending each other Christmas cards anymore.
Regardless of the truth or otherwise of the claims made, Michael Vaughan has developed into, and pardon my language, a bit of a prick.

Oh he always was, it's just when he was scoring runs for England he was a useful prick.  He's the only ex-player turned commentator in the sport that I honestly don't like, seems to have an opinion of himself that is vastly out of kilter with his actual abilities and seems far too eager to slag current players off for anything.

I don't think Vaughan has a single clue about stress/mental illness and the affect on performance. If something isn't right in your head how can you perform at your best at Test level?

Vaughan is a dork brained wassock for sure,    but his comments were after an interview that Trotty gave to Sky where he used some derogatory references about mental illness. Looks like Vaughan has engaged Sue, Grabbit and Run.

He always came across of being harsh towards Trott. He made a dig about him chatting to the saffers when they were over which was unnecessary, and whether it was his county allegiance or something more professional, he certainly was happy to talk up the Yorkshire players.

I think he has become better on TMS recently - a little more impartial perhaps?

Raining at Worcester. Lancs have survived the first 4  overs here with no problems.

So long as there isn't a Yorkshire style resurgence we should win this.

Hampshire still batting. Thought they may give it a slog as they only have 1 wicket left and have to take 10 wickets still.

Still almost 80 overs left I guess - all nine wickets to spin.....

Well it firmly looks as if we are going to escape relegation but I hope the cup win does not gloss over what has been a pretty disastrous season.

With the players at our disposal we should have been in the battle for the championship rather than relegation.

I think Bell should relieve himself of the captaincy, it is obviously affecting his form, with his talent he should be scoring runs for fun at this level.

I also think Brown should go. He may well be one of the hardest working and deepest caring coach around but I don 't think he cuts it as the top guy. Our cricket is too often dull and uninspiring and the frailty of the batting must stem from the top as the talent in Bell, Trott and Hain should have seen us score plenty more runs.

Vaughan questions the honesty and integrity of a man whose honesty and integrity he has questioned inexchange for payment for a column he writes. I won't name any names but a writer  who works with the TMS team was happy to confirm he's a deeply unpleasant man who is primarily driven by money. Unless there is something in it for him he's not interested.

When my brother was on TMS he said he was made to feel very welcome by all the team who were keen to know about the work his charity did, all bar one person.

I know several people who have had dealings with him and not one of them has a good word to say about him. Vaughan that is,not my brother!

I know someone who has met him a few times and they've said the same and it's no surprise, that's exactly how he comes across to me.
