The club stated that the game would not be day/night if championship or relegation issues were involved.

There are gonna be issues so cannot be day/night. I certainly don't want it...too cold.

Hants 213 lead
Middx 12/1

Wear a coat you big softie! I'd like it if it was day night might pop to the crucial session after work.

Why not eh? We've just scored 123 and 152.

Lunch time scores:
In the balance at TB where Middx are:
151/5 still needing a further 84 to secure a vital victory for us. Not a bad recovery i suppose from where they were.

Durham 129/7 still 292 to win. Safely say that Yorks will get requisite 3 wkts to win that one

Surrey 108/2 still trail by 145. Just need them to bat out the day to secure the draw.

Would be a bit of a miracle if we get away with Middlesex winning, Yorkshire winning and Surrey drawing.

Would be nice if we could actually win a game ourselves.

Exactly. Essex are 99% promoted, if they replace us, then Brown/whoever has made this decision could be left with egg on their faces. As we throw two kids in to our top 6 which has struggled to score runs for a while.

So looking like Notts will go down today which will leave several counties trying to avoid that other spot - us Hants Durham Lancs I think but the latter two have a game in hand.
