I didn't see any of the action but I had a feeling that we'd go for runs at the expense of wickets given the forecast tomorrow. 7 wickets needed on a wet day is very doable if we can bowl around 20-30 of those overs. Very much game on. We need a win after 4 draws.

for those interested  there is a legal live stream on the notts website. It doesn't have replays and you cant see the ball hitting the boundary, Its just a couple of camera's somewhere behind the bowlers arm so you see the balls, shots and hopefully 7 wickets

What's pissed me off stuck at home all day is that Notts televise game through a live feed on their web site and i only realised about 14:00.

Hopefully that will be working for the T20 match there on Friday.

Yes Peter W can be very interesting tomorrow if we get sufficient play

I've got a horrible feeling that the weather will have the final say in this one.

It could be a bad day all round for the Bears tomorrow. The result of the pitch inspection after last week's home game is also announced tomorrow.

There will be no penalty against the Bears.

Westwood out for the grand total of 1!  Brown needs to be harder and drop him. Sorry, but I'm beginning to have my doubts over Brown. Team seems to be stagnating. Look at Giles at Lancs - wish Ashley was back at the Bears!

His form has been poor, no doubt, and he is a Bluenose to boot but that ball would have got anybody out. There was a gasp of surprise from all around the ground at how it took off.  On the other hand he had faced a fair few balls and comparing his strike rate with Chopra's at the time was verging on embarrassing.

That's a positive outcome. I'm sure Dougie's comments helped!

It strikes me that a "Cricket Liaison Officer" reporting in to a "Cricket Discipline Committee"  followed by a visit by a "pitch consultant" who produces his own report are far too many levels of red tape. Where does the pitch consultant's report go?

Thank heaven for Chopra ,Trott and to a lesser extent Woakes and Wright.Without them we would have struggled to reach 30

Start delayed at Trent Bridge. It's not raining and the usual drying actions are underway. If it stops dry then play could start before lunch. It's a bloody big if though.
