Westwood this season so far:

2 0 4 3 4* 1

Average = 2.8

Needs to be dropped for his own good, his confidence must be totally shot.

Oh and we are four wickets down to a team whose best two bowlers have been called up for England.

Well done Woakes and Barker.  Ffs Drop Westwood! Put Ateeq Javid in instead - Brown needs to look at this big time. Westwood just isn't good enough.

Magnificent fightback by the lower order.

What a strange season this is turning out to be: our fifth game but only our fifth innings; all matches drawn; snow blizzard stopped play; the bottom 5 outscoring the top 5 in every innings.

I found out today (I never read the handbook/yearbook) that Bears members can get into Trent Bridge (and Old Trafford) for free this year apart from when we are playing there. This is great news as Trent Bridge is my favourite ground and they actually make you welcome.

Fantastic effort from the lower order half yet again .At 60 for 5 three figures looked out of the question let alone 372 .Westwood 26 balls for one run and listening to it live on line you just knew it was going to happen .Like his namesake at Villa Park he seems to be undroppable .There must also be some serious doubts about Sam Hain who failed again to .Disappointing that given his chance Laurie Evans failed to take his chance .Still if we can bowl like Notts did before lunch and take some early wickets to put them under pressure we can win this game
