Rest players as the game against the bitters is huge, but try and play the same formation regardless of personnel, would agree with resting, Ayew, Veretout, Okore, Ghana, Kozak, Lescott, Cissoko and Bunn, have them on the bench but only use in an emergency, we were crap in the first game against them, but believe it or not they did not beat us.
Gabby, Grealish, Sanchez, Richards, Clark, Justhead, Bennett, Lyden, Sinclair, Guzan, some of the kids.
Villa 2-0 win, whoever plays.

Yes, rest players and give the others playing time. We don't want to risk the 1st choice fatigue or the possible knocks.

A comfortable 3-0 win to make it unbeaten in 4 and then onto the Boggies.

I would change the team completely from Saturday's. There is still a slim hope of survival which we shouldn't ruin by picking up injuries.

Need to rest players ready for the weekend, can almost guarantee Pulis will be doing so. Also need to win in 90 mins though, I reckon 2-1 Villa. Do fear for us in midfield though if Gana and Veretout are given the rests they need, as that will leave Sanchez, Bacuna and Westwood as the three. Gulp.

As horrifying as it may sound, they should be good enough to see off Wycombe Wanderers.

Something like this would do. However, Agbonlahor can serve warm piss and chips with curry sauce in the Trinity.

Be a lot rested for this one...Can't see Okore, Veretout, Gana, Kozak, Ayew, Gil, playing...we should be enough for them though...I didn't think an awful lot of them first time out...

I disagree with making changes for the sake of it unless they are injured or we have a new signing available.  Maybe give Lescott a breather and replace him with Richards but only if the old fecker can't handle two games in a week.  I might tinker with the bench though and replace Richardson with Grealish.  Keep this momentum up.  I predict a 2-0 win. Kozak to net at least one of the goals.

I agree. I'd give Veretout and Lescott a rest but that's about it.

Should, but sadly they weren't last time.

I wouldn't want to see us make wholesale changes - if we want to build some momentum we need to ensure we beat this lot and bringing the likes of Guzan, Sinclair and Richardson into the side not going to help

I'd rest a few but would go with Bunn, Richards, Okore, Clark, Cissokho, Sanchez, Westwood, Veretout, Grealish, Kozak, Gestede

Subs: Guzan, Bacuna, Richardson, Lyden, Ayew, Gil, Agbonlahor, Sinclair

Same team which have played the last 2 games. With the exception of Richards for Bacuna. Making changes for the FA Cup is absurd.

---------------Bunn------------------          Needs game time
Richard---Okore---Clark ----Bennett        Get Richards used to playing RB / I'd possibly play Cissoko depending on fitness.
--Sanchez-----Lyden---Westwood---        Fitness key for Sanchez, with the view to replacing Westwood
---Grealish----Kovak----Sinclair------

I'd maintain the same formation so they can get used to some attacking patterns and build some sort of collective understanding of responsibilities.

Sorted.
I never want to see Carlos Sanchez in a Villa shirt ever again. I'd take Westwood every time.

The ground looks very, very empty on the seat plan. Hardly surprising though really.
