Time to go for it...
« on: December 14, 2015, 07:06:32 PM »
Nothing to gain by being cautious now, so I would like to see us go for it over the next few games. Our full backs without Amavi are not really at the races so I would do something like the below.  Getsede should be a last ditch hoof it only option.

               Bunn
   Okore-Lescott-Richards
Gil-Sanchez-Veretout-Traore
             Grealish
         Sinclair-Ayew

That's my two penny's worth anyway!

A bit too defensive.

Maybe Kozak, Gestede and Gabby at centre-back?

That's like a Sherwood team

At 2-0 down on Sunday, three at the back would have been worth trying

We could do with a bit of pre bonkers Sherwood to kick start the season. And then hand off to Garde to maintain it. If only football management worked like that.

Got to get both Gil and Traore in the starting eleven. At least it'll get us on our feet.

I'm not sure it will make any difference now in what formation we lay out the deckchairs on the Titanic, sadly.

Why lescott? And that central midfield will get overrun.  All for attacking intent but we are desperately missing fighters in midfield. Problem is we ain't got a single one. This time next week it will all be over

I've no problem with that team - we've won once all season FFS so anything is worth a try when you need some wins.  Sure it looks lightweight in midfield but what exactly have we been so far this season!

I reckon we'll create a lot more chances with that team atleast.

Leicester won just 2 league games in their first 19 games last season so it's not impossibe for us to stay in this league. It ain't over yet.

They won 3 and were on 13 points after 19 games. After 29 games they had won 4 and were on 19 points.

Oh, that's put a downer on that then. I only posted it because I heard it on 5Live this evening.

If you play 3 at the back, you have to play 2 wing backs, otherwise you will be taken apart.  I am fine with the wing backs being more attacking type but they have to be able to track back effectively.

It still shows that it is far from a lost cause though.

Oh I'm convinced it ain't over yet. They'll be plenty more twists and turns to come. Not even half the season gone yet.
