My mother called it the Serpentine Grounds.  Never forgave them for  not being the Perry Barr Pets.

I quite like the Tonybowl.

Makes me think of Kelloggs Frosties.

Those waistcoats look like something straight out of Alan Partridge's wardrobe.

I like them. I'd wear one at home.

If Villa Park is going to be named, I reckon it will be the Villa Pak Choi Stadium

A member of the Twitterati is suggesting a Luke Roper design manufactured by Nike.

Now that is interesting.

It raises a couple of questions though.

If it is manufactured by Nike, then presumably the kits will have Nike's logo on?

Secondly does that mean we will have Nike training merchandise as well? Or would that be Luke 1977?

I find it hard to believe Nike would allow production of a design that isn't one of their templates though.

But I would be so happy with kits made by Nike and if this Luke guy is a Villa fan then the kits will be immense I am sure. His clothing brand is very smart.

Also I now see where the innovative talk came from and also how it benefits the fans. I've never heard of a sports giant teaming up with a local designer who has his own brand before.

I'd say this is true.
