I really don't give a shit. A kit is the least of our issues. Just get the best deal we can.

The most important thing is whether the players can play in it. The second is whether said company can meet consumer demand.

I'm sure I saw a rumour on Twitter (yes, I know) that we were going to produce our own.

When I had raised the trophy hunting associations with Keith Wyness he was concerned but pointed out how hard it is to find an ethical sportswear manufacturer. They all seem to have skeletons in their closets! (Nike sweatshops etc - although apparently Nike, adidas and Puma have all considerably upped their game in this regard) He also said the most intranet thing is that the players have kit that is good quality, comfortable and allows them to get on with the job.

The statement about the new manufacturer is interesting. Maybe the 'groundbreaking' side is that he has found something that has a good ethical fit but maintains good quality? Maybe something in the deal feeds into the community? No idea - just speculating.

I'm sure I saw a rumour on Twitter (yes, I know) that we were going to produce our own.
At a time where FFP becomes tighter then I’d be perplexed if that’s the case. For me a new brand entering UK market. Li-Ning for example

Don’t they make the Pisa shirts?

It will be bio-degradable. It will start out all starchy and uncomfortable, gradually improve and hit ‘the sweet spot’ for a couple of months. Before eventually disintegrating just as the season ends.

Seems a good fit for the Villa.

Those shirts do beg the question as to whether a new kit sees meltdown on Fiorentina forums about it being the wrong shade of violet.

I hope not that is our thing.

If we released a shirt and there wasn't anyone saying it's the wrong claret, it's purple etc.... then i swear the world would stop spinning

It may not be the most important thing in the world but I'm sure Villa fans are not alone in wanting their team's kit to be in their traditional colours rather than some hideous facsimile of it.  I don't are who makes the kit, but I would like to have one in Villa colours.  The last few, since Macron got the gig, haven't been.  Just another thing that Lerner and his entourage of losers fucked up while in charge.

I wish we could have Adidas they make some quality stuff instead of a Chinese company we have never heard of which after a bit will be able buy in China Town off Mr Wong as cheap as chips.
