It's probably Primark.

Innovative and ground-breaking in football?

Maybe it's not a sports manufacturer. Huawei kits? Recon?

Can't think of any other way it could be ground-breaking.

Recon - paying us £200m and getting around FFP!? 😉

Nah I reckon it’s a ground breaking foray into women’s brands in men’s football. I’m going for Donna Karan, Prada or maybe Givency. Something chic.

Prada kits would be  8)

Lacoste should make football kit. They already make tennis clothing. Why not branch out into football? It would be quite smart for the French team to wear the crocodile.

Haha there you go. That England top looks solid. Seriously though a fashion brand would be very unique.

Interesting that the decision to terminate the deal was mutual - didn't Macron offer more than UA at the time in the event we got relegated? Pretty sure it's been reported that our retail and commercial sales are up considerably since the new regime took over. I wonder what UA think about how the relationship has gone.

They certainly did Eamonn. I spoke to someone at Macron not long after, they were really disappointed - UA had made the better PL offer but Macron had a much better deal on the table for the Championship.

Having said that, Macron was rubbish too. I'd like Adidas or Puma.

If we had Lacoste, can you imagine how much our gear would cost?!

Smart but would not pay £100 for.

I would pay £15 maximum, including delivery.

I haven't bought a shirt in years, but I would if they were our makers.

...an innovative new agreement, which will be ground-breaking within football and, more importantly, will benefit our supporters.

Those of us of a certain age will remember similar spin from Uncle Doug that heralded Henson.
