I just been to the club shop I can confirm that it's plum/purple

They had to refurbish it in some colour I suppose.

This
Bumped into a lad wearing the new shirt at the Doc's in Kiddy last night.
It's that funny WHam purple, not "claret" imho.

The claret - and blue - on the ACORNS shirt was our best I reckon.

I've not been anywhere yet to look at the new kit or training gear but on all the images especially yesterday when the team were travelling it all looked a bit purple to me.

My mate brought in the new kit to show me (he works for Villa Ladies) and I was stunned at the prices - Rucksack £42, gloves £20, hat £20, shorts £32, t-shirt £50, training shirt (long-sleeved thing with a zip) £80, trackie bottoms £50 (may have been more) - a total of £294! He is collecting his stadium jacket £100 and bench coat £150 next week - that's the price of a Season Ticket!!!

He used to get me the odd shirt for my lad but there won't be anything this year for sure...

The more I see the new clobber, the more I like it.  The track suits are really smart.  Might buy one.  I'm not so keen on the home kit, love the away one though.

The prices really are taking the piss out of supporters. Both for the kit and the training stuff.

Suggestion for the new owners to endere themselves to our supporters - Free shirt at the first home game of the season.

And yet if it's to be believed, the opening day sales were up 214%.
Maybe the lure of Under Armour and a decent design...even if the colours are not absolutely to the liking of many on here.

I think the design is pretty good and it would be a decent kit if not for the colour issue.

And wipe out nearly all of their shirt revenue??!!
