You can't copyright a single word that is in the English dictionary. Also it's blatantly just being used as a slogan in the Puma/Burnley kit advertising campaign so wouldn't have any direct links to anything to do with us anyway. It's basically the same as if Adidas would use the word "shit' as their slogan to associate with the new Blose kit.

KRS I've seen a couple of faded background images on the villa site and another site which I can't remember the name of. I think we'll have a similar template to the new az alkmaar away shirt but without the slats on the arm.

You could be spot on...the stitching at the base of the buttons looks identical to whats on the Villa site:

The new away kit might be interesting. Light blue with what appears to be a white band in the middle. At least from the teaser they have on Twitter and OS

Can't see any teaser for the away kit on the OS (why do they make it so hard to find anything on there?) but looks like a v-neck in baby blue and white from the teaser gif on Twitter. Instantly reminds me of the 97-98 away shirt:

It's wierd how the official site and emails still have Macron emblazoned all over them, when advertising the new kit.
I guess a new deal with a new supplier kicks in on July 1st.

I do like the idea of an Away strip with vertical, rather than horizontal stripes, a la Iceland, but solid claret and blue rather than fading away at the top. Im sure some teams in the seventies had that design and it would be a nice retro touch.

There isn't any indication of vertical stripes on either of the new kits.

I'd forgotten what a God-awful kit that was!

Yeah it's horrible so I hope I'm way off in my initial thoughts, but it's definitely got a light blue top half at least with a white v-neck.

I realize that KRS, I was just thinking it may look quite cool for an oldtimer mod like myself.

To be fair I'm not sure what kind of design you're referring to. Any examples?

Like the Iceland design but a white shirt with a claret and blue stripe down one side, I think Barcelona played in a yellow version in the early eighties? and im sure some English clubs wore similar in the seventies but I cant for the death of me remember who.May have to start trolling classic kit websites unless you can help me out.

Any photos of other teams in 2016-17 kits, to give us an idea where it is going. Companies like Nike are boring as they do a template and make all team fit to it ie England, France, Portugal.
